The Role

Kickstart your career in construction and outage management with a role that puts you right in the action. As an Associate Construction & Outage Sequencer, you’ll work alongside experienced team members to help plan, coordinate, and keep critical transmission projects running smoothly. If you’re detail-oriented, love solving problems, and are excited to learn something new every day, this is your chance to grow fast, make an impact, and be part of a team that’s got your back.


What Your Day Will Look Like:

  • Assist with planning and sequencing outage phases while learning constructability best practices
  • Support evaluation of outage plans and help identify potential risks or challenges
  • Help coordinate resources like labor, equipment, and materials
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align outage schedules with project timelines
  • Monitor outage progress and flag delays or issues to the team
  • Maintain project documentation and records related to outage sequencing
  • Participate in walk-downs to validate plans, confirm clearance points, and support scope discussions
  • Help develop checklists and document key project conversations
  • Present outage requests to the Project Management Team in alignment with PJM requirements
  • Collaborate with Transmission System Operators (TSO) and Regional Distribution Operators (RDO) when needed
  • Support and promote safety standards across all project work


What You'll Bring to the Familia:

Essentials to Succeed:
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing) in electrical engineering technology, energy management, relay tech, or a related field
  • OR a high school diploma with demonstrated aptitude and interest in this work
  • Strong interest in construction, outage sequencing, or system operations
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office and general technology tools
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Positive attitude and ability to collaborate with a team
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the company
