Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead coordination with electrical utilities on transmission or distribution line projects.
- Develop detailed designs for overhead and underground power lines.
- Conduct field surveys, assess structure strengths, and ensure compliance with NESC standards.
- Create comprehensive construction packages and provide ongoing support during the construction phase.
- Mentor and support junior engineers.
- Travel up to 25%.
Knowledge & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- 2-3 years of experience in power line design.
- Engineer-In-Training (F.E. Exam passed) with plans to obtain a PE license.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Excel is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license for multi-state travel.
