We’re seeking a dynamic professional to lead client engagement and strategic growth initiatives for our FirstEnergy account. This role serves as the primary liaison between LUZCO and key client stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication, project alignment, and long-term partnership success.
Essential Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients, serving as their main point of contact and trusted local representative.
- Act as the dedicated account manager for FirstEnergy, overseeing the partnership and identifying opportunities to expand services.
- Facilitate client onboarding and maintain consistent, high-quality relationship management practices.
- Collect and respond to client feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Strategic Collaboration & Business Development
- Partner with Engineering, Program Delivery, and Business Development leaders to ensure project execution aligns with client goals.
- Support strategic account analysis and contribute to the development of new business opportunities.
- Lead go/no-go evaluations for new Master Service Agreements MSAs and RFPs.
- Prepare proposal qualifications for Front-End (FE) opportunities and formal RFP responses.
- Deliver compelling presentations on LUZCO’s capabilities to key decision-makers.
Operational Support & Industry Awareness
- Provide on-site client support as needed and stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and rate updates that may impact clients.
- Forecast client needs and proactively communicate insights to internal leadership.
- Maintain clear communication with engineering teams regarding project backlogs and staffing capacity.
Talent & Growth Enablement
- Support full-cycle recruiting efforts to meet client staffing demands, including sourcing, screening, and onboarding.
- Cultivate relationships across client organizations to identify upselling opportunities and secure additional scopes of work.
- Present project updates and performance reports to both clients and internal stakeholders.
Additional Duties
- Perform other responsibilities as needed to support LUZCO’s strategic growth and client satisfaction objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience working with FirstEnergy and cultivating strong client relationships.
- 3–5 years of experience in account management or business development roles.
- Proficient in managing client relationships and using CRM platforms effectively.
- Solid understanding of the energy sector, including regulatory frameworks and market dynamics.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills when engaging with key stakeholders.
- Skilled in developing and reviewing proposals, RFPs, and contracts, including leading go/no-go decisions.
- Capable of forecasting client needs and managing project backlogs and staffing resources.
- Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding processes to meet project requirements.
- Comfortable evaluating opportunities for business expansion and strategic growth.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
- Proficient in CRM systems, project management tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
