Essential Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key clients, acting as their primary point of contact and local presence.
- Serve as the FirstEnergy account representative, managing the relationship and identifying opportunities to expand work.
- Coordinate with Directors of Engineering, Program Delivery, and Business Development teams to ensure smooth project execution and alignment with client priorities.
- Assist in the development of new business opportunities and strategic analysis of key accounts.
- Create and prepare proposal qualifications for Front-End (FE) opportunities and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Lead go/no-go discussions for new MSAs and RFP opportunities.
- Lead presentations on LUZCO’s capabilities to key decision-makers.
- Facilitate client onboarding and ensure strong, consistent client relationship management.
- Gather, distribute, and respond to client feedback to inform continuous improvement.
- Provide on-site support when necessary and stay informed on industry changes that may affect clients (e.g., regulatory shifts, rate updates).
- Forecast client needs and proactively communicate relevant updates to internal leadership.
- Maintain clear communication with engineering services on project backlogs and staffing capacity.
- Support full-cycle recruiting efforts, including sourcing, screening, and onboarding, to meet staffing demands.
- Nurture relationships across client organizations to identify upselling opportunities and secure additional scopes of work.
- Present project updates and status reports to both clients and internal stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support LUZCO’s strategic growth and client satisfaction goals.
Knowledge & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience with the FirstEnergy and building strong client relationships.
- 3–5 years of experience in account management or business development.
- Skilled in client relationship management and CRM tools.
- Knowledge of the energy industry, regulatory environment, and market trends.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with key decision-makers.
- Ability to create and evaluate proposals, RFPs, and contracts, including go/no-go decisions.
- Proficient in forecasting client needs and managing project backlogs and staffing capacity.
- Experience supporting recruiting and onboarding to meet project demands.
- Comfortable analyzing opportunities for business growth.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient with CRM, project management software, and Microsoft Office tools.
